...we should lay out our manifesto in the first blog post, but I think it should be a work that has time and care taken over it and not rushed. We'll post it when it's done.
Suffice to say we want to design out the bigotry, hatred and ignorance that religion manifests and we think one way to help do this is to be vocal about the fact that you're a rational, free thinking individual.
We don't believe we should feel bad about being Atheists or Agnostics or Skeptics, after all we don't feel bad about not believing in the Easter bunny, do we? But some of us have to deal with 'Catholic Guilt' and Islams demand for the death penalty for apostasy is designed to scare people out of questioning the dogma. By being vocal about it we can show the oppressed that it is OK to think.
